Adamya Ramanand is an Indian musician who plays the ancient South Indian percussion instrument Mridangam. A disciple of Padmavibhushana awardee Sangeethakalanidhi Dr Umayalpuram K Sivaraman, Adamya is an A graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Having started performing at a very tender age, Adamya has a career spanning over three decades now, and has accompanied many senior established artists as well as talented young stars of Carnatic music and also has been collaborating with artists across genres and forms of art. Adamya is also a dedicated teacher, training many bright young students in this glorious art form of South Indian classical percussion.
